I've used "ntpasswd" on stand alone machines and thought it could only change local machine accounts and not active directory accounts. However, the following link shows how to use it on a domain controller. Yea baby! Unfortunately, "ntpasswd" may not work on Win2k with latest SP. Bummer. http://www.jms1.net/nt-unlock.html Thanks again! -Matt -----Original Message----- Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2003 8:36 PM Subject: Re: [GEEKUNION] Need Help If someone else is a Domain Admin then you can log into the system without a problem. If you don't have any other Domain Admin accounts then I recommend this free tool: This is what I use: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ If you don't want free and need a commercial tool Winternals has a Admin pack that does this as well. Largest issue you have is if the FS is on a RAID system/disk and getting drivers to mount the RAID system. -Frank ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2003 11:42 AM Subject: [GEEKUNION] Need Help > What is the latest hacking tools to retrieve the administrators password > from Windows 2000 Server?
