From a high level view, what are some of the bad events we should monitor?

Here's what I can think of:

bad events
----------
down host
down db
down conc mgr
down sqlnet
down dns
loss of one or more file systems
out of disk space in file system
archive dest 100% full
out of space inside of oracle (tablespaces, rb segs, extents)
bad looking errors in /var/adm/messages
bad looking errors in oracle alert log
bad looking errors in oracle listener.log
the backup failed
the cpu goes above 90%
i/o rates on busy disks approach 0 
hung printers
hung conc requests
zombie-like connections
failed data feeds
abnormal growth/shrinkage rates
unexpected schema changes
unexpected peripheral software changes (who upgraded apache?)
hacker attack
security weakness
internal security breach
network performance problems 
network connectivity problems
